Leaving Spaces

Important
Users on the New Team plan are able to leave spaces.
You can leave a public or private space at any time unless you're the only space admin. In that case, you’ll need to add another admin to the space first. In order to leave a locked space users must ask the locked space admin to delete them from the space.
Note
Space admins receive Inbox notifications when users leave the space.

Navigate to the space you want to leave.

Click the three-dot button 1 below the space's title.

Select Leave space 2.
You’re no longer a member of that space. Your profile picture disappears from the list of space members. The space also disappears from your sidebar.
Note
If you're added to a Space through a user group or multiple groups, you won't be able to leave the Space by yourself. You can only exit once you're removed from all associated user groups. This rule doesn't apply to the "My Team group.
If you’d prefer not to see the Space in your list, you can simply hide it. To do this, navigate to the Space in the sidebar, click the three-dot menu button 1 next to the Space name, and select Hide 2 to remove it from the list.
