Possible to Change Default Columns in Gantt View?
When I open Gantt View, the current default is to see the following columns: Title, Start date, Due date, Predecessors. I know I can open the gear and manually change the columns for each individual project, but is there a way too set the default to have the Assignee column replace the Predecessors column?

It is possible to replace the Predecessors column with the Assignees column by clicking the gear icon, unchecking the "Predecessors" box and checking the "Assignees" one. However, it currently isn't possible to set this as the default across all tasks/projects that are looked at in the Gantt Chart view.

Any update on this topic since 2020? It would be very helpful if the Admin gets to decide the default views for each view and then employees can edit them or change them.

At the moment, the only way to limit who can edit views is through access roles. If you set the Gantt chart view as default, the view will be applied to the Space, project, or folder and all users who access that item will see it - with the columns you choose to display. However, if other users change the settings of the view, the rest of the team will also see these changes.
A possible workaround would be for users to create personal views. This way, all changes they make to the view settings will only affect them.
