Permalink a Dashbaord
I'd love the ability to Permalink a dashboard, especially with those that I've shared a dashboard.
Use Case:
I've identified something interesting and would like to notify my team right away. I'd like to be able to copy the link to the dashboard and paste it into our team's Slack channel or email. This way the end user can go directly to the Dashboard.
Thanks
Hi Andy, this is an interesting idea. Just so I'm clear, would this person then be shared with the Dashboard, or are you thinking of an interactive snapshot of the dashboard that won't be shared?
Also, have you checked out Report Snapshots? It's not exactly the same but might be something that interests you.
Looking forward to your reply 👍
I think having it shared with that person is expected. The goal is more around the expediency of the request and a more fluid experience into Wrike.
The goal is really around improving adoption with users that may use Wrike a few times a week and getting them directly to a dashboard from another app without getting distracted. Allowing them to tap a link and go straight to a deep link in Wrike is highly valued.
Totally agree Andy. I'm having trouble getting my team to look at the Dashboards even though they're shared. I'd like to have a permalink to add to meeting invites and other communications.
Hi all. You could simply copy the dashboard's URL out of the browser, and have people save it as a bookmark somewhere, such as as in their web browser, or within a wrike space. Would this work, or am I misunderstanding?
The URL copy does not work, as far as I can tell.
Same deal - lack of ability to link to dashboards makes them a second class feature, no question.
Did anyone find a solution to this please? It's an old thread but I can't find anything else on it and being able to link to straight to dashboards would be a massive help - links in docs, recurring meetings etc.
Hi there, like Sam I am successfully using the copied URL, while using Wrike in my browser. This is just a workaround, but until there is no other solution, works fine with me.
Berit Schulze - Browser URL does not change when I change between dashboards, so the URL-link only takes you to the dashboard section, not to a specific dashboard.
URL in my browser looks like this when I'm in any dashboard:
https://www.wrike.com/workspace.htm?acc=xxxxxxx#path=overview
Magnus Tjerneld: unfortunately this workaround only worked with the "Old experience" - since we have the "New experience" there is no dashboard-specific URL anymore :/ ... when you disable the New Experience you will have the opportunity to get the specific URLs.
I'm really quite shocked to find that this feature doesn't exist. It feels pretty basic in terms of user experience to be able to link out to the dashboard you created, both to folks who have edit access and 'view only' access as you would with a Google Doc. I really can't use dashboards socially at all if I can't hyperlink to them. I'm not going to ask someone to take three to five clicks to go navigate to find the information in my dashboard vs. just including a link that will take them right there...
Also... can we get a duplicate feature for dashboard widgets please? I don't want to memorize and recheck every criteria for a widget in my dashboard every time...
Hello Nikki Herta, welcome to the Community, and thank you for posting. I've passed on your feedback to our Product team.
For duplicating dashboard widgets may I ask if you've considered copying the widget to another dashboard and changing the source? This way it will keep the settings while giving the ability to edit the data source.
Please let me know if this helps for now.
Just bumping. Users/new and old have difficulty finding and using dashboards or similarly wiht reports. Just needs a permalink so can copy offsite.
In a few cases I have got them using it, when it was "this is your job in a page" for Kanban boards and the like. Otherwise it is hard. I know have i have personally "lost" dashboards i created because when it came to needing them there was no link.
I have started to use PowerBI Dashboards linked to Wrike as a substitute as they have a hyperlink and can arrange how I want.
Thank you for sharing your detailed use case James Koch! Have you considered using the tools section in spaces? You can pin dashboards to specific spaces. For existing dashboards, it's possible to move them to different spaces in your account. Please let me know what you think!

I agree, and this seems like a straightforward and essential feature request!!
I just want to be able to send someone an email or slack message that points them to a particular dashboard.
None of the suggestions from the wrike team here even remotely address that need!
This is part of a bigger issue: all of the information about which dashboard, or viewing options the user is using should all be part of the GET request. If I want to save a link that will show me a Gantt chart view for a particular user, I should be able to do that!
Welcome back to the forums John Franck 👋
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback here, I'm passing it on to the respective Product team now. Please upvote the original post here if you haven't yet - the votes help the team understand how popular a suggestion is 👍

Linking to a dashboard would help us as well.
Use Case: I've created a document management system in Wrike. Now in other areas of Wrike, I want to add a link to the dashboard where the user can find all the published documents.
I considered linking directly to the specific document but in our doc. system, when revising a document, we create a new task with the new document revision. This does 2 things for us: 1. It keeps the active document in the active status until the new document is ready to be published, and 2. It keeps a clear revision history for auditors (we can show the past tasks which are records of previous revisions).
Thank you for sharing your use case as well as supporting this suggestion Mike Fank!
