FAQ โ๏ธ How to Export Comments from Wrike Tasks
Angeheftet AngesagtHi folks! ๐
We're testing a new format to our posts โ the FAQ-style. Our aim is to provide you with quick, easy-to-understand answers to some of the most common questions we receive. We're starting off with a frequently asked question about exporting comments from Wrike tasks.
โQ : Export to Excel doesn't include comments. How can I export my comments from tasks?
๐ฃ๏ธA: There are several ways you can export comments from Wrike tasks:
- Account Backup: You can perform an Account Backup to save a local copy of your account's Wrike data. In the 'tasks.json' file, you'll find a list of tasks along with the corresponding comments for each of them. If you wish to include BI data in your account backup, it will be stored in tables in CSV format, including tables with comments. You can find the documentation for the data schema here.
- Save as PDF: Each task can be saved as a PDF file, which will include the comment stream.
- API: Comments can be pulled via API. You can find more details about this process here.
We hope this quick FAQ is helpful! Please let us know what you think of this format and feel free to ask if you have further questions ๐

I think this could be very helpful as the FAQ area would expand.
This is definitely a question our team has had before. We still wish comments were included in Excel exports.ย
To add this as an export option would be great. Maybe a fourth export option like "all projects, tasks, subtasks, and comments" then add it as a column in the export.
Can I export gantt charts as a mp3 file? It would be helpful to navigate them with my apple vr headset. thanksย
