add multiple start/end dates on same tasks when there are multiple assignees
We need the ability to add multiple start/end dates on same tasks when there are multiple assignees and flexible effort is enabled. We should be able to assigned multiple efforts by assignee and have different dates so we dont have to duplicate tasks for each person. This is a huge issue for us as it causes significantly more time to setup.
Hello Marie Doloc, thank you for sharing your use case and feedback, I've passed it on to our Product team👍🏼
Hi!
Has it been any development regarding the above?
I also have multiple assignees with various constraints that I currently cannot handle in wrike on a same task (or I do not know how).
Should you need an exemple :
I have X that can work full time on the project. He will be assigned on the task 8 working days on the row. However, Y is already assigned on other tasks/projects on Monday and Tuesday, I would then like to be able to say that Y is assigned on the task for two periods of three days. I want the task to be the same.
If no solution is currently available, would you be able to propose a way around by the time this development is done?
Thank you in advance for your answer
Hi Anne-Flore Perrin, welcome to the Community! We don't have updates regarding this feature but it seems that Workload Charts might be very useful in your case. As stated in our Help Center, Workload Charts are used to manage your team members’ capacity, prioritize tasks based on their capacity, and plan work allocation.
Also, I'd like to mention that you can check our New to Community forum to discover all the resources you can find in our Community 🙂
Hi Juan,
Thank you for your answer. I am actually using this feature (workload charts). I find it very usefull.
However, this is actually the source of my previous comment: I am unhappy with the display. In my example above, the effort spent for Y spans over the 8 days, creating an over load for the two days Y is supposed to be on the other task, and a lower load for the 6 remaining days.
That's why I would like to be able to split the period of times spent on a task: in order to have a correct load display on workload charts.
Do you think you can dig into this display issues? I can make myself available to descirbe/explain it better and longer should it be needed.
Best regards,
Anne-Flore
Thank you Anne-Flore Perrin, we appreciate your feedback! I'll pass it on to the responsible team now, and we'll contact you in case the team needs to discuss this further 🙂

Would also like to see this feature. Multiple date ranges on the same task.
Thank you for adding your support to this suggestion, Patrick Walden!
Having multiple date fields on a task would be very helpful. For instance DATE 1 shows when a design is due, DATE 2 shows Flight or Deployment dates, DATE 3 is used to populate a calendar. As it is, we have to use 3 separate tasks for 1 item simply to show different dates for calendars, dashboard widgets and due dates. Having the ability for a calendar, widget, or report to choose DATE 1, DATE 2 or DATE 3 (for instance) would be a godsend. We have hundreds of extra tasks simply because a task only allows one date.
Thank you for sharing your use case with us, Tom Madsen, I've passed it on to our Product Team 👍
