Using Wrike for SEO Projects

For the past four years, Wrike has been our secret weapon for keeping SEO projects structured & efficient.

Some of our favorite features are the following!

🚀 Blueprints – SEO projects come and go, contracts renew, and having a blueprint is a game-changer. We’ve set up structured project templates with subtasks for each SEO initiative (maps, content, tech, etc.), keeping all crucial info (e.g. objectives, links to sharepoint) on the main project.

📊 Reports – Since we track time for every project, we built a custom "Monthly SEO Workload" report. It gives us a quick snapshot of who’s overloaded and who can step in to help, avoiding burnout.

📅 Workload & Efforts – Most SEO projects run for 12+ months, so estimating workload is key. Wrike helps us see exactly how much effort each project demands and plan resources accordingly.

Automations – One of the best time-savers! Our favorite automation? A reminder comment on overdue tasks that tags the SEO specialist responsible.
