[Status: Investigating ๐ต๏ธโโ๏ธ] Table View hide fields should be per user
Currently, if a user opens a folder in table view, clicks the gear icon, and checks or unchecks one of the columns, it shows or hides that field for every user who views the folder, and it affects the field everywhere it appears, not just the table view. Shouldn't that be on a per user basis, especially since there's not currently much that can be done to restrict who can change folder properties?
This created confusion in our workplace. Someone unchecked the ID column, making the perfectly reasonable assumptions that a) it would only affect them, not everyone looking at the folder, and b) it would only hide the field in the table view, not everywhere the task was visible. This led several to believe that Wrike had removed the task number from display.ย Until this behavior is changed, it will continue to cause confusion in our department, because anyone using the product is going to assume that's how it works.
This caused a problem for me this week too!ย I went to the table view and the columns that were there last week were missing.ย It took me a while to figure out what was going on.
Hey guys, thanks for that idea ๐
