Hi Michael,
You can adjust the filters to see tasks that have been completed. For example, hover over the "Active" filter, click the X to remove the filter and you will see everything in that folder. You can do quite a lot with Filters. I'd suggest taking a look at the Filters help article to learn about all of the other possibilities.
