To Do List emails

If I schedule tasks with a start date AND due date, will they start showing up on daily To Do emails based on the start date?  Or how can I make that happen?  Some of my collaborators are not signing into Wrike regularly, so I need the email reminders to nudge them when to start working on something rather than just on the day it is due.

Hi Anna, once the person is assigned to the task then their Daily To-Do Emails will include these tasks. They'll see tasks that need to be done that day and overdue tasks. You can have up to 6 items shown in these emails and they're based on three main conditions.

Tasks for Today—shows active tasks which are assigned to you and whose due date meets one of three criteria:

  • Today’s date falls between the task’s scheduled start and due dates,
  • today’s date is one of the start or due dates,
  • or the task is overdue (the scheduled due date has already passed)

Overdue Tasks Created by You:

  • Shows active tasks which you created and whose due date has passed.
  • Tasks in this section are not necessarily assigned to you, but they were created by you.

These emails are dependent on each user's email notification settings so you'll need to ensure they're preferences allow this email to be received. Any other questions, I'm happy to help! 🙂
