Reporting same tasks from multiple projects

All my Projects are in one space.  All my projects have two similar tasks, "Internal Kick Off Project Review" and "Customer Kick Off Project Review".  Now that I have dozens of Projects coming in a single month, I need to have a report to check to make sure these two keys first tasks are done.  How do I report on the same task across all projects?

Hi Joe Tilton, thanks for posting. One workaround I can think of is using Custom Fields.

  1. Create a Custom Field for Task Completion:
  • Set up a custom field (e.g., a Checkbox or Dropdown) called "Kick Off Complete" or similar.
  • Add this custom field to all tasks in your space, or at least to the two key tasks in each project.
  • When either "Internal Kick Off Project Review" or "Customer Kick Off Project Review" is completed, mark the custom field accordingly.

 

     2. Creating a Report:

  • Create a task type report.
  • In the edit, filter by the custom field to see the tasks.
