Effort on One Day

We're using Wrike to manage a quote log that tracks our resources for both the estimator and the engineer. The primary resource is the engineer, so they are the "Assignee" and their time need is tracked in the "Effort" field. However, the "Due Date" of the task is the date we have to return the quote to the customer. I have a custom field, "Eng. Due Date" that tracks when the engineer has to turn it over to the estimator. The overall duration of a quote is typically 3 days. The typical engineering "Effort" per quote is 1.5 hours and all falls on one day, typically the second day, which is the "Eng. Due Date". 

It seems like I could use flexible effort to achieve this, but it would have to be adjusted manually per quote. I could also create a subtask for each task that is "Quote Engineering" but we're worried that will make our log too messy. My ideal solution would be that "Effort" is always assigned to just the "Eng. Due Date". Is that possible?
