Is there a way to make a DATE REQUIRED task inn Wrike?
I work at in Creative Services in Marketing at a Software company. We receive our creative project tasks through Wrike. No one wants to commit to adding a DATE to the task/milestone/etc.
I would love to know if there is a way to restrict someone from adding a task if they do not add a date.
Sorry if this needs to get bumped and was discussed before. I admittedly didn't cruise the posts for a solution.
Thanks for reading!!
Hi Joel Kisker, the only way to make mandatory dates is using forms.
Thanks Pietro Poli ! I see that and I just forwarded that along to my Manager.
Thanks again!
The other option, which is reactive (unlike forms), would be to use a report to see who created tasks that are still backlogged:
Apparently, I'm the biggest culprit in my organization, the next being the Wrike Bot.
Also, filter on status group = Active.
Filtering by the status group made me look slightly less delinquent on the backlogged tasks.
That's excellent Mike Fank! This will shed some light on the offenders in question lol! Thanks again!
