Set Default View with New and Improved Views

Hi,

I've got the "New and Improved Views" enabled from Wrike Labs and it's changed my default view from List to Table (new). I can't seem to get it to change back in a persistent way. I've tried setting List as the default view at the space level but it hasn't working. Any advice?
