Search
It should be possible to create widgets or folders with smart searches. Smart searches would be able to find tasks or projects that are in a certain folder or it's subfolders, or find tasks or projects that are NOT in a certain folder or it's subfolders. Current search expressions are limited to finding tasks not folders.
Hi Stephen, thanks for sharing this here! While it's possible to use the search commands folder: and notin: to search for tasks based on their Folders, I can definitely see how it would be useful to search for both tasks and Folders at the same time.
Search should not be limited to a command like "folder: " , etc...
why is it not possible to do a general search of the information inside Wrike,
Wirke its a collaboration tool, many people fee information inside in many different ways (title, content, task, notes, etc...), its frustrating that I can not find information inside Wrike!
Carlos, thank you for commenting here and on the other Community discussion. This is great feedback, and it's really helpful hearing about how your team uses this functionality. Something I wanted to mention was that the search bar at the top of the page pulls results from task titles, descriptions fields, comments, and file names. The only results which are not included in that search are for Folder and Projects names. In regards to search commands, it's also possible to use an * to search tasks by part of a keyword, and it can be combined with any other search command. For example, creat* will pull results which include create, creative, created, etc. Let me know if you have any questions about this, and thank you once more for submitting these ideas!
