Customize request form e-mails per request form type
I'd like to be able to customize the e-mail that goes to a requestor via a form and have the ability to send different automatic e-mails based on the type of form filled out.

It's already possible to customize External Request Forms email confirmations. Please open the Request Forms list from your Account Management and click on the gear icon with Configure emails text in the upper right corner. You'll have a pop-up window where you can customize the email. This email will be sent for any Request form you send out.
There is an existing Product Feedback thread on having a multiple confirmation emails option. Could you please check it out and let me know if this is similar to your use case?
