Collaborator access based on status

Is there a way to give our vendors access to tasks only when the workflow status is set to a certain value - in this case our custom workflow status "Current state"

Can i restrict access to users to a task based on project status? This is to ensure they don't enter efforts for closed tasks.

I apologize for the delayed response. Currently, it’s not possible to restrict user access to a task based on the project or task status. However, I’m listing a couple of workarounds below that might help you:
 
  1. Locking tracked time
  • You can lock time entries for a specific date range in a project or folder. This prevents users from adding or editing time entries (efforts) within the locked period. Please refer to this Help Center article for more information and instructions.

  2. Changing access roles

  • Set the access role to "Read Only" after a project is completed. This prevents users from editing tasks or logging time, while still allowing them to view the information.
