Create multiple Projects through a single Request Form

It would be very helpful for my company if there was a way to create multiple wrike projects through only one request form. If our Sales team needs to request a quote from my department for our services, there may be multiple quotes, with different auto filled custom fields, that need to be created for just one project. I would like to limit the amount of times Sales needs to fill a request form for a single project. For example:

Lets say Sales (collaborators, rarely use wrike) needs a Design and Commissioning Service Quote for the project "Wrike Headquarters". If "Wrike Headquarters" has three buildings, and each building has a different number of floors and devices (which affects the price of the quote), then I need to create not one, but six different projects to live under our "Wrike Headquarters" folder (a Design and a Commissioning project for each building). I would like the option within the form to create multiple projects, each with different names, and different auto filled custom field values, etc.

This would be incredibly helpful for convenience, organization and status reports.

Thanks

RV

I have the same thing .... :)

It will be great if we could add more projects model to project from request form. Define from questions, we add project with task.

Thanks.

Our company could benefit from this as well.

We have our Web team and our Creative team needing to create two projects that are separate from each other at the time of a form submission.

Another vote for this as well. We have two different teams who need tickets for every RFP and right now they have to fill out two request forms. The ability to create multiple tasks/projects in one request form would cut their submission time in half.

We have a similar need that we've solved with Wrike Integrate (paid add-on). Essentially, our solution looks for new projects created in a specific folder (by request form submission), which triggers a recipe that generates either another project or set of tasks, copied from a blueprint.

I'd be happy to provide a sample Wrike Integrate recipe on request.

Hi everyone! You can now add conditional subprojects to all projects created or duplicated via form submission - here's more info on our Help Center: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003404345-Dynamic-Request-Forms#subprojects. Hope this is helpful!

Laura Boylan thanks for your input 🙂

Lisa Thanks for this update. But, it would be more valuable for our team to create multiple projects that can live independently, not as sub-projects. Is there any update on that?

Thank you for reaching out, Nich Adam! This is not on the team's short-term roadmap at the moment. I'll continue checking with the team and I'll let you know if I have any updates.

Here to say I am also interested in separate projects, not sub projects. Any update 2 years later, Lisa? Thanks!

Hi Lisa Ansteth, thank you for bumping this older thread!

I don't have an update from the team at the moment, but I'll pass your feedback to them anyway 👍

Hi,

I was looking for this same feature which i think is a fundamental requirement for creating projects with multiple deliverables or sub-projects that any PM platform should support.

Current Challenge: In my organization, we have developed blueprints for each deliverable that are required in creative work. However, we are only able to select these and create one project at a time. For larger projects, where multiple sub-projects are required and need to select such blueprints for each project, how can we go about this?

Hi Piyush Menon, thank you for chiming in! Could you please confirm if the Conditional Subtasks and Subprojects in Request Forms would be an option for you?

Or you're referring to an option to create multiple independent projects?

Thank you!

Hi @... , I'm looking for the option to create multiple projects which can sit under an program or master project using a single form submission.,it  should have the option to tag the required blueprints (in our case, a specific process steps tagged for a digital or creative deliverable. e,g website development) for each project.

Example - Lets say we have a portfolio /program with some key strategic projects that needs to be delivered. For each of the deliverables, we will tag the required blueprints to be added as part of the subtasks for those specific projects.

Currently, we have built one page for selection of blueprints and this currently leads to say one project as the end with required process blueprints added to it. However in the case of multiple projects requirement, we would either to resubmit the form for each project or somehow maintain multiple pages with the same blueprints page to create multiple projects (this however is high maintenance at the backend)

It would have been great to have a dynamic request form, where we can simply list the number of projects needed and then the form allows you to tag the required blueprints to each project.

Hope this makes sense.
