New Table View Performance
Mostrato in alto In evidenzaHi everyone! ๐
Today, we would like to address some performance hiccups concerning our New Table View. We are eager to give you an update on whatโs happening and what weโre doing about it.ย
You might have noticed that our New Table View has been a tad sluggish for some of you especially when dealing with folders packed with numerous columns.
We discovered that tasks like loading extra data, scrolling through tables, adding columns, and making updates in cells were slower in certain cases.ย
These performance issues are most noticeable on slower, less powerful computers, as a significant amount of system resources seem to be unexpectedly consumed. We continue to investigate the specifics of this issue.
It is important for us to assure everyone that our goal for the New Table View is to make it powerful, speedy, and super responsive, especially for power users and certainly better than the Old Table view.ย
We are treating this as a top priority. Weโve got experts across multiple teams working diligently to find a solution and make this right. What we know to date is that we are dealing with a combination of factors causing these issues.
But here's the good news: we're already rolling out the fixes. These fixes should improve the New Table view performance and address other identified issues, potentially tripling its responsiveness in those large folders and slower machines.
Our team anticipates that you will start to see these improvements as early as this week, and they'll keep on coming. We're incredibly grateful for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve these performance snags.ย
We would like to thank you for flagging this issue and providing timely feedback to our team.ย
Rest assured that we are absolutely committed to delivering the best possible experience on our platform.
If you happen to encounter any more performance dilemmas in the meantime, please reach out to our Support team. We need to know about every single one of them, so that we can tackle them head on. Our team will continue updating you here in the Wrike Community.

Already moving faster. Thank you for looking into this.
Another great reason to refactor the Wrike desktop apps to be native instead of a browser based framework solution. For Mac OS the mobile app can be made universal/run in desktop too, would be amazing.
:-)
Lisa, I've had issues with the table view that I previously established disappearing, requiring me to rebuild it on multiple occasions. Additionally, as a Space owner, I would like to request that the table view I establish is available for all of our users who view the table. This is important as many of our users are not sophisticated in the tool and, when I am training them, I show them my view and how the table view helps to show many important data points can be viewed in one location. If each individual member, who is not especially comfortable in the tool, is forced to build their own table view, I expect that they won't know how or put in that effort, and thus not benefit from the set up that I have created to bring them the benefit promised. Thank you.
Thanks a lot for your feedback here, folks, greatly appreciated ๐ Please rest assured our team receives it.ย

I completely agree with Neyl Walecki, a Native Mac OS app would be very appreciated
ย
HI Lisa roll up is active woldwide? I don't see any improvement =(
Yes, I agree with Neyl Walecki and MW - we need real native apps instead of the current webpage packaged as an app with Electron. Matt Peterman wrote Build Native Applications - Electron Is the Slow & Lazy Way in 2020 already. For Apple platforms, iOS/iPadOS apps run perfectly in Apple Silicon desktop Macs.
Hi MW - Tuomo Suominen thank you for your feedback ๐
Pietro Poli, please let us know if this behavior persists, if that is the case, we will open a ticket with our Support Team on your behalf ๐
Hi @...,
a ticket previosly opened confirm that you make a release today.
Effectively it seems much speedy and light now
Great to hear Pietro Poli! Thanks for letting us know ๐

What is this "new table view".ย I go into the app and as with everything Lightspeed... can't find it at all.ย So I don't even know what all this new fuss is about.
Hi John Rakoczy,
at the beginning when "new UI for table view" born the name in Wrike was "Table (new)", now they replaced with "Table".
So "new table view" is "table view".
