Capture date that a status changes
I'm using wrike as a ticketing system and I'd like to report on how long individual tasks/tickets stay in a particular status. I know the date a status changes is captured in the stream, but can it be captured in a custom field? or is there another way to capture this for each task?
There is a way to view it in a custom report if that would work for you.
Hello Jennette Warner, welcome to the Community! I believe that the workflow reports are the feature you are looking for. Please, let me know 🙂
Also, I'd like to mention that you can check our New to Community forum to discover all the resources you can find in our Community 👍
No, I looked at workflow reports, and that does not give me the info that I want. I don't want an average for the tasks, I want the data on each individual task. This data is being captures, I can read it in each task's stream, I just cannot access it in a useful way that doesn't require manually re-entering the info in a custom field.
Hello Jennette Warner, thank you for your reply. It seems that Wrike Analyze could be an option for you. May I please ask you to elaborate on your use case so we can confirm this could be the solution you may find useful?
If that is the case and you're interested in acquiring this feature, I'd create a request with our dedicated team to assist you with this. Thank you!
Yes, I am interested in seeing data for individual tasks (tickets). I want to know how quickly we are responding to and closing out tickets based on the type of ticket (we have this as a custom field). Our workflow involves changing a task from new to active to complete. I want to know how long each task sat in a particular status. I can see this info in the stream, but can't use those date changes unless I manually add them into a custom field. I am trying to avoid that. Workflow reports are generated with this data from each task, but I am not able to see the data that is being used. I would like to talk to someone about Wrike Analyze as well as the powerbi connector. Thanks.
Thank you very much for your reply, Jennette Warner! I have passed your case to our dedicated team, you will be contacted very soon to be assisted with this 🙂
In the meantime, if you have any additional questions, I'm here to help 👍
I know this post is over a year old, but did Analyze help with this? I've been toying with this as a way to capture stakeholder task durations between two statuses (To Do > Completed). I was hoping I could create an automation that would capture the date of the flip in a custom field, but that's not possible. From there I was going to make a formula field... but I need the date captured first. And I need something automated because we have way too much work to manage this manually.
Hi Brooke Murphy,
the only way you've to do this is use something like Zapier or Wrike Integrate and automate the capture of the data.
