How can I identify which folders are accesible for a given user?

How can I identify as an account Administrator which Folders are accesible for a given user without clicking every single Folder an looking with whom it is shared?

Hi Walter,  thanks for your post! Sharing works from the top-down (inherited sharing) meaning that when a Folder is shared with someone, it's Subfolders, Subprojects, and tasks are shared with that user automatically. Creating a Folder structure based on top-down sharing can result in spending less time checking Folders for this information because you can just check the top-level Folder.

I understand you have a Business account, however, Enterprise account Admins can quickly sign-in as another user on their account, which may be a quick way for them to check what is shared with each person. I just wanted to post this information for any Community members who are on Enterprise and are reading this post.

Yes, I we have the Business account. We do have Folders which are not inherited (and we want it that way).

Further question: if a user creates Folders, which he does not share with me (or any other admin), how can we know of their existance?

Thanks for posting back Walter. Wrike is built so that private Folders can be created by everyone, and those individuals can choose who to share these Folders with. If a Folder has not been shared with you, you won't be able to review it.

If some Folders are not shared from the top down, then you'll need to check each Folder's contents to see whose Projects, Folders, and Tasks have been shared with. As a workaround, you could create a 'Master' Folder and ask everyone to save their Folders/Projects in it so you'll have access to check everything.

Thanks for sharing this feedback for other members to upvote and discuss further!

Hello,

I would like to review which folders and projects have been shared with a particular user prior to deleting their account. Can I do this prior to actually taking the step to delete their account and transferring their files to myself? I cannot recall over the span of 2 years which projects has been shared with this individual, and whether they may need to stay on the other ones.
