[Status: Launched! 🚀] Include Custom Fields in Timeline View

Hi Vanessa, thanks for reaching out! You can't see information from Custom Fields directly on the Timeline View (the Table View is better for that). However, you can click on tasks from the Timeline View to open them and then see Custom Field information from there. I think you want to see data from fields directly on the Timeline though. I would love to hear a little more about that. Would you like to see certain field data directly next to or under a task's title?

I'd love to see this feature as well. Or better yet a built in percent complete rather than a custom field. In MS project I can enter a percent complete in each task. On that timeline it would then show that task shaded in proportionally to the percent complete. So if a task was 20% done the task would be 20% shaded in. Is there a function for this in Wrike?

Bump.  I'd like to be able to add any of my custom fields in the timeline table portion.  We have some project and task specific information stored in custom fields (we use them heavily) that would be nice to see (not just filter on).  More column options in the Gear! 

Hello, I would like to have the table view with Gantt chart, so instead of double working and adding data on the table view and on timeline view you can do that only on 1 view-on the table view. The table view is very useful, because you can add additional columns. It would be very useful to do it. The software is good, but some things are not very useful.

I agree. There are many "table view" functionalities that are missing from the timeline view. Custom fields missing in the "table" part of the timeline view is one of such features.

Or maybe just combine table and timeline views into a single one.

I would like to have the Table view options (adding specifically needed informational columns) on the Gantt chart or at least an option on the gear to add the table view added options.  This would be very useful and would stop a lot of split viewing and adding reports to get the information requested out to lead users.  

We will also be glad to see this feature in Wrike. Sometime it will be helpful to have direct access to some properties of the task while working in the Gantt Chart.

I would like to be able to display custom fields on the Gantt view as well.

A quick update - it is possible to add custom fields to the table portion of the Gantt Chart! You can read more about it in this Help Centre article. For that reason, I've changed the status of this thread to Launched.
