Status colors: Introduce color picker

Yeah that is a great idea actually. We are also struggling because some of the colours really look alike and an extra variety of colours can make things a bit better to see.

That is just what I have been thinking about!

The introduction of such a colour palette would be of great help for our team, as in one of our folders we use about 22 statuses and the tasks are indistinguishable from one another pretty often 🙁

And what surprises me even more is the fact that Wrike provides a bigger colour palette for the colour of a project/folder and Calendar layers than for statuses - those nice colours are so close and still I can't use them 😢

The idea to use emojis in statuses is great, but won't be helpful for my team as we mainly use Gantt view.

The claim for richer colour palette has been voiced several times, it is sad that upvoting for this topic is scattered among different posts. I hope that those votes are added up by the Community team)

But this is exactly what I'm looking for. I would love to see more color options for custom workflows. If we have the option to create up to 200 custom workflows then why are we only limited to these 13 colors?

I would love to see this feature. We have so many different workflows in our office because we have so many different types of project. Being able to give them color schemes with varying shades would be soooooo useful!

I don't have an update at the moment, but please let me share some detail on how this Product Feedback forum works. We have a voting system here where any Wrike user can upvote a suggestion when visiting the Community. There are other ways to let us know your feedback, and the Community is one of them. We have a process for reporting all suggestions, feedback, and votes from this forum to our Product team, and they continuously review all of this data.

Once any suggestion reaches the 60 votes threshold, we add a Product status to it. You can check out more info on that and on the list of statuses in this post. That's why I'd encourage you to upvote the original suggestion above if you haven't yet.

Hi Lisa! I just want to point out that while this post doesn't have 60 upvotes yet, there are at least 3 other posts making this exact same request, and those posts all have a good number of upvotes. There are lots of people looking for this feature, including myself! It would help my team enormously to have more color options for our custom workflows. Both to eliminate confusion with other workflows, and also because some of our workflows have more than 13 statuses, and having to re-use the same color in the same workflow is so confusing. I really hope this gets elevated to the Product team!

We definitely need more colours for the workflow statuses. A picker would be awesome, but a custom RGB value would do! 

I agree with Dana. Searching for color brings back an immense number of suggestions, most of which are asking for more. There will be a dilution of upvotes across all these different requests, but they should be considered as a group.
