[From Wrike] Labs Release - AI Recommended Tasks ๐ฆพ
Hi everyone! ๐
Iโm very excited to announce the Labs release of AI Recommended Tasks!ย
AI Recommended Tasks is a new widget in your My Home page that helps you make sure youโre focusing on the most important tasks first. This widget displays up to 8 active recommended tasks that are assigned to you. Our Machine learning model assesses the urgency of the tasks based on numerous factors like due dates, statuses, prioritization, the regularity of updates, and/or comments, and others. The more you interact with different tasks in Wrike, the better the model performs.
How to Enable AI Recommended Tasks
AI Recommended Tasks can be enabled from Wrike Labs for your individual account:
- Go to Wrike Labs.
- Scroll down until you see the AI Recommended Tasks card:
- Click Enable to turn on the feature for your Wrike account.
- You can disable it by going back to Wrike Labs and clicking Disable.
Please note that AI Recommended Tasks are available on all accounts with the New Wrike Experience enabled. You can find out more about the New Wrike Experience here.
Weโre hoping that you find this new widget useful in your day-to-day work and that it'll help you concentrate on the most important work. Please try it out and let us know what you think ๐

Is there a way to arrange the Recommended Tasks section around on the home page like we can with the other sections? I would prefer to have it at the bottom not the top.
I would like to be able to filter and sort what is included in this list. I have things showing up that aren't important for me to have on my home page constantly. I would like to be able to filter out certain spaces or folders from the included list.
Thank you for your feedback, Jason Pontius! I've spoken with the team regarding your comments - they are working on arranging Recommended Tasks on your home page now, and they will also continue improving the overall experienceย ๐

I left some feedback yesterday that it would be great if we could remove irrelevant tasks off the list. For example, with an "x" on the far right of each task that appears when you hover over the task. I assume this would help the AI learn what type of recommendations we're looking for? E.g. tasks we've opened often in the last week vs. tasks that are due soon vs. tasks where someone @mentioned us and we haven't responded vs. tasks that we're assigned to and the status has been stagnant for a while.
I really like this feature and am looking forward to see how it evolves!
THank you so much for letting us know your feedback, Soraya Jungย ๐

Checking to see if this was still in Labs and therefore disable-able?ย The feature showed up in My Home today and I'd like to disable it.

Hi Cheryl Venable! AI Recommended tasks are now out of Wrike Labs, we'll be announcing this in the next Weekly Release Note on Monday. What you can do if you don't want to see them is to move them all the way down on your Home Page.
Please let me know if you have any questions!ย

I'll add my support for making it possible to disable this widget. Not everyone is interested in this feature, so it just seems like a waste of resources to generate this list for people who aren't going to use it.
Hello Eric Prindle, thank you for your feedback, I've passed it on to our Product team. Please let me know if I can help with anything else.ย
Same here; I'll add my support for making it possible to disable this widget. Not everyone is interested in this feature, so it just seems like a waste of resources to generate this list for people who aren't going to use it. It's not lean.ย
Welcome back to the Community, Jasper Ketteringย ๐ Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback on AI Recommended tasks! Have you considered moving the section all the way down on your Home Page?ย

+1 for being able to disable this feature.ย I've had a couple people in my company ask me how to disable it as well.ย ย I like my homepage as uncluttered as possible and only things that I use, so don't even want it at the bottom.
Welcome to the Community Jonny Van Dyck, and thank you for sharing your feedback! I'm passing it on to the Product team ๐
