[From Wrike] Getting started with the New Wrike Experience! ๐ŸŒŸ

Hi everyone!
 
We've been working on rolling out the New Wrike Experience over the past few months, and your feedback has been invaluable to this process. Thank you for sharing your insights ๐Ÿ’š
 
Whether you're new to Wrike or new to the New Wrike Experience, here are all of the resources you need to help you get the most out of it.
 
To enable the New Wrike Experience, go to Wrike Labs and enable it for your account. If you're wondering what the differences will be between the classic UI and the new one, be sure to read this short guide on how your Workspace will change.
 
Once you've enabled the New Experience, you'll probably have a few questions on how to use it to its full potential. This is where the New Wrike Experience Help Center comes in! This Help Centre houses content related to the New Wrike Experience and features a Frequently Asked Question section, along with articles showing you the full potential of your new Workspace.
  
 
If you're still curious, the Community is full of resources and posts about the New Wrike Experience to help you get started. Along with our announcements and updates, we recently ran an AMA with one of our Product Managers on the New Wrike Experience, so that Community members could share feedback directly with the team. All of your feedback is collected and discussed by the team as they continue to work on the New Wrike Experience. So, if you haven't already, enable it now in Wrike Labs, and be sure to let us know what you think ๐Ÿ‘

Hello @ Wrike, please allow me some first impressions/questions/remarks after exploring the New Experience.
To be clear, this to ever improve the Experience all together, I understand this layout will be here to stay - and it is based on the use of Spaces ;-) but if with all input for as many users we will get it as most functional .. that would be the Best Experience ;-) Good job Wrike, lets make it even better :) Speak soon, regards.

 

  • GENERAL :
  • timer should be present on the Home Screen .. for quick acces so to not have to dig into the project/folder/task to annotate hours ?? 
  • !! a lot of left > right mouse travelling ... enabling support for the macOS TouchBar support could prevent this :)
  • PS. see my other more complete post in the Community regarding the TouchBar, most of the matters momently resolved via BTT plug-in but no ideal :/ https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360002419453-masOS-Touch-Bar-support-integration
  • really : Plus Button also should move to Top Left again, personally I use this a lot ... (again, have to travel again ...)
  • small detail : company logo + Wrike logo disappear when not on Home Screen
 
  • TOP BAR :
  • Inbox icon (Top Left) for me personally of no use, icons top left should be user customisable (eg. I use My-To-Do and Dashboards a lot)
  • Calendars/Dashboards (right column) order must be adaptable in order (now alphabetical?)

  • TOOLS :
  • referring to above, if it would be possible to have the top left icons customisable per user, I would do Dashboards for example) I did not see the use of "Tools"
 
  • LOCKED SPACES :
  • not released to date and apparently not sure if this will be included in Business version, hope so cause that is a very (and IMHO basic) feature to prevent a lot of "accidents"
 
  • AUTOMATION :
  • there would be added a trigger for Custom Fields by the end of this year? correct? all subscriptions?
  • should be possible to DUPLICATE rules to do only small adjustments (eg. folder destination) instead of having to start all over again ...
 
  • SEARCH FUNCTION :
  • Command-F should function into the workspace Search NOT in the Open Tab Window
 
  • VIEWS (FILES) :
  • possible to enlarge (width) the column of the filenames to see long(er) filenames ??

Will this eventually be pushed out to all Wrike accounts? Is there a date for this to happen? Would like to get ahead of it for when it does.

Hi Brianna LaBarge! The team doesnโ€™t want it to be disruptive to your current workflows or your current experience. That's why a sunset phase is planned dependent on the successful rollout of the New Experience. There's no date for when it will be released to all accounts, but we'll make sure to keep you posted! You can read more about the New Wrike Experience and plans for it here in the FAQ section of the New Wrike Experience Help Center.
