@mentioning user groups

Hi everyone,

I've had a few comments from our users where they have issues when trying to @mention a user group within the comments of a project or task..  When they start typing the name of the group it does not always show up.  Does anyone else experience this?  is there something we are doing wrong?

Hi Amy Hunter, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Do I understand correctly that the same user sometimes sees the name of the user group and sometimes doesn't - and does this happen in the same item (Space/Project/task)?

Also, does it happen that the user doesn't immediately see the relevant user group when @mentioning but at some point, it is found?

Here you can find more information about how @mentions work in Wrike. Looking forward to your reply 🙂

Hi @... thanks for you reply.  There's a couple of users who have brought this to my attention.  One particular user was trying to @mention a user group which they had never tagged before so I was guessing this was why it wasn't coming up for them.  Other users have told me they now can tag the user group after not being able to locate it previously - even when trying to type the whole name out.  It's not always in the same project or task.

Thanks for the information regarding @mentions.  Looks like we are doing the right thing so might be a case of just keep trying until the user group is located in the list when trying to mention them.

Feedback: for one of our user groups, none of the users received notifications when the group was @mentioned. I think this was caused by the '&' sign in the name of the group. When I replaced it with 'and', the notifications worked again.
