Is it possible to customise the status dropdown list for a project?
I'd like to have more specific labels than Red, Yellow and Green, and add a few more statuses.

I'd like to have more specific labels than Red, Yellow and Green, and add a few more statuses.

Lisa, will be able to create a dashboard or report for projects based on status? We have 60-70 projects ongoing concurrently having that weekly update for me would be HUGE
I am hoping this is something that happens soon. I would think that since Wrike is a Project Management Tool, they would have standard roll out schedules and this would have something more than just a Q2 (since that is a 3 month window and could easily be moved to a Q3) for expected roll out.ย
@Melissa Hi, thank you for your support here ๐ I just wanted to point out that release timeframes are not static due to testing periods which can lead to further development or tweaks during the final sprint in the project. We always want to ensure that the function works without any bugs needing fixing or tweaks of any kind before general release.ย

This request was first made 2 years ago.ย It's a very basic PM feature.ย Not clear why this has not been implemented.ย ย
I work in a large software company.ย We have quarterly rollout plans.ย We don't always hit them, but we have them.ย "testing takes longer than anticipated sometimes" is not a valid response to requests for a feature backlog.ย Make me wonder what's going on at Wrike.ย You are after all, selling a project management tool.ย You should be able to do a better job at setting and living up to feature release expectations.ย

Any update on timing of this? End of month? Sooner? We are trying to plan for our updates that we plan to rollout this quarter, hopefully we can include this! :)

I'm hoping that the subject of this feed (almost 2 years old now) is #1 priority.ย I cannot understand why this roll out is taking so long.ย I'm familiar with computer programming and this is comparatively very simple.
I am now 'The Wrike Expert' at my Firm and would be approved to add dozens of new User Licenses, but, my CEO is frustrated about the Green, Yellow, Red.ย He hates it, honestly.ย He would like specifics.ย We report to and are owned by a very large International Company that hates it too.ย ย
I have a report due the end of May and will have to tediously spend hours, going through each of our nearly 200 projects and manually change the Project Status.
Please, at the very least, offer this option in your wrike.com/labs area (like the 'New Table', etc.).

Mike, I have been with Wrike for SOOOOOO long.ย Unfortunately what clearly happened in my opinion as a consumer is Wrike shifted their focus on developing new add-on services they could charge more for in lieu of creating new value for existing subscribers.ย ย

Sure they came up with blueprints and spaces, which are great.ย BUt they are a tweaked version of what already existed.ย Proofing, integrations all valuable and awesome new features for only another $10 here and $10 there.ย It has frustrated me as a client to no end.ย ย

In large missing the idea that subscription means you provide new value for that existing subscription.ย Not upsell it constantly.

How is this not an option yet? With custom work flows there is absolutely no need for a "Status' that has basic generic green red yellow options. And you cant hide it you just have a random field that nobody needs to use. How has it been two years and still not been updated?ย ย
Hey @Melissa Skinner - just so you know, I got an email for beta access to this feature for a 5-day trial. Looks like a very limited test before the end of the month, so I imagine that they'll put out more info afterwards. :)

This has been Coming Soon for quite some time, is there any timeline or expected release for this feature?ย
@Thomas, Hey! We have limited availability to offer early access for testing and these spaces have been filled for this beta.
On Community we offer betas to our Black belted members first, then Green and then Orange, and then open invite if spaces still remain. Itโs our way of giving back to members, like you, who contribute often and make this space a great place for everyone to learn.

As usual, with Agile teams like our own developers, during a testing phase, the team need to be fully satisfied itโs perfect before itโs made public. So during this Sprint, thereโs no way to give an exact date. The feature is expected to be rolled out by the start of Q3, as I said earlier. We'll announce it on the Community as usual, and I'll also update this thread ๐
