Add Approval reminders to My To-Do

Love this idea! It sure is a to-do!

This was just brought up by my team here. really needed

Hi all! Although it's not currently possible to add reminders to My to-do, it is possible to automatically ping approvers by creating an automation rule. You can select a trigger called 'status doesn't change in X amount of days', and add a condition to filter the tasks that are pending review. After that, select an action to send a reminder to the approvers:

 I would be intereseted to get the steps to setup the automation for approval reminders pls

I see approvals have hit the to-do lists - which is great! I'm no longer missing any approval pings. However, once I've finished my approval, I want it off my to-do list if I'm not assigned to the task. We use approvals for peer review - so I'm unlikely to be the assignee AND the tagged approver. Once I have done my peer review, I accept or reject and my job on that task is done but the task stays in my to-do list. Is there anything in the pipeline to fix this?

• Navigate to the relevant Space or Account-level settings.
• Click on Automation.
• Click on “+ Rule” and select “+ Custom rule” from the top right corner.

• Choose the trigger - “Status doesn’t change in”, select the number of days and status

• Go to Approvals and select “Pending Approval”

• Choose the action “Add comment or mention”
• Add a comment or @mention and then select “Approvers” from the mention list
• Click on “Create”
