[Status: Not Planned] Account Owners cannot delete Space if it is created by another user
Currently space is only allowed to be deleted by Space admin, the account owner has no right to delete it, this is frustrating.
Account owner should be able to delete any Spaces regardless he or she create it or not.
Steps to reproduce:
- User A (account owner)
- User B (regular user)
- User B creates Space X, User B is now Admin of Space X
- User A attempts to delete Space X
Current result
There is no any menu to User A, so User A can delete Space X
Expected result
User A must be able to delete any spaces in the account
I'm upvoting here - we are in the deployment phase and the person who created the Spaces is now on maternity leave. I am the Owner and need to modify several Spaces I didn't create, but like the others, I can't. It's frustrating that a Space Admin can modify but the Owner of the platform can't. I noticed this conversation has been going on since June 2019. There isn't a fix yet?

I mean, it's only been 42 months since the suggestion was first made. (while I still have a space in need of deletion from an Intern that took too many liberties in his brief time at the organization YEARS ago. )
Hi Brad Kaye, I can see our Support specialist has been able to help you with this one! Thank you for reaching out and let me know if you need help with anything else!

Just upvoted to 60 :). I wonder how long it will take now, hopelfully not 3 years...Owner should have full control on the system. Management of the spaces should not need an intervention of a Support Specialist.
Greets, Peter
Ditto to all other posts - Hoping this is corrected sone. Obsolete and spaces created by former employees are creating confusion. This is something that Owners should be able to control so that we can keep our Spaces neat and tidy even after someone has left the team.
Hi everyone! As this suggestion reached the 60 upvotes threshold, we've worked with our team internally to add a product status here. For now, there are no plans to add this functionality, as we are currently focused on Wrike Lightspeed enhancements, and that's why the status here says Not Planned for now. We understand that this will be disappointing news for those of you who supported this idea, but please rest assured we'll continue passing all feedback from this thread to our team and if we have any changes in relation to this suggestion in the future, we'll make sure to let you know.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the honest response.
If Wrike is not adding the "functionality", how can a Wrike Administrator keep the environment clean and tidy? I don't think you can call this "functionality", it should be by default.
If we are stopping our subscription, are all our spaces/projects/... forever on your servers, because we didn't share them with you? I don't think so...
So please give us a solution for this.
Many thanks,
Peter
Hi Peter, thank you for your continued feedback, I completely understand where you're coming from. Please rest assured we'll be bringing this up internally and if there are any changes, we'll make sure to announce them.

Wrike should be embarrassed by this failure. Just give us the dang access to the account!!!
Hi Bob Schneider, as Lisa mentioned above, we totally understand the feedback here and have taken this on board. This is indeed a popular request and we know it would bring benefit to many users, however, it's unfortunately not possible for us to implement all of the suggestions that we get on Community and there is a need for us to prioritize based on votes and other factors including internal research and analytics.
For more detail on how we work with Product feedback check out this Community post. We'll absolutely keep this thread up to date if there are any changes and if there's anything else we can help with, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Leav Oz-Ari, apologies for the late reply here, I was checking with the team to see if there are any updates.
At the moment, this idea isn't on the roadmap, but we continue sharing your feedback and the vote count here. We'll let you know if we have any updates here in the future.

Hi Leav Oz-Ari, thank you for your question. In case you don't have access to the user's account who is the only admin of a Space, our Support Team can assist. Please, let us know if you need help with this 🙂
Just wanted to add that this is still an issue. While I do appreciate that support can help, this should be considered a bug. If the account owner inherits a space from someone no longer on the account, they should inherit it with full rights.
Welcome to the Community Kristin Strickland, and thanks for letting us know your feedback, I'll let our team know about it.
Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with 🙌

Ask your Wrike Account Manager about "Full Access Admin". It's an undocumented security group that will get you what you need for now.
