Product Roadmap?
Dear Wrike -
I've subscribed to the entire Product Feedback section so I get notified each time there is a post.
There are many mentions of various ideas/enhancements being under consideration by the product teams.
Could you please entertain showing us the roadmap for the next year so we can know what we may be able to expect as fixes, enhancements, etc.?
I, along with others, have been waiting on some pretty basic stuff. Knowing if these items are going to be released soon could help retain me as a customer. To be perfectly transparent, I'm shopping around for another solution and have two active trials going with other products. I truly do want to stay with Wrike, but can't justify staying if the product doesn't meet my and my teams' needs.
There are many posts that I have authored that you can check out. They're cataloged in my comments on this post: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115003750045-Please-make-the-subtask-start-and-end-dates-roll-up-to-parent-tasks-that-use-dependencies
Thank-you!!
Hi Megan, I'm sorry it's taken us a little while to reply. I know I say this to you a lot, but we genuinely care about what you need and were trying to see if there was something we can share. I don't have anything I can share publicly, but I know you have some time set up with Amanda later this week and she'll be able to go through those posts with you in more detail. I'll make sure she's aware of the different posts you've been a part of and we'll stay closely in sync to give you as much information as we can.
Any chance Wrike is able to release a roadmap for some of the most requested features?? I know you can't commit to dates for certain releases, but allowing the paying customers to see where certain features are forecasted for release could be helpful and quell some anxiety.
Yes especially rate cards please
Yes agreed on this one, getting updates to the effect that "this quarter we won't be working on it" is very frustrating, especially when we're talking about basic stuff like:
Subtask visibility in Boards:

or Editing the task completion date:

or Adding a sensible ID to tasks:

Something like "we are working on this stuff now" even without dates would be a huge improvement. Right now it's very hard to see what Product is working on. Your guys' weekly releases notes are terrific, but I never know what to expect as the gamut of stuff that you guys release has no relation to this community. The "Coming Soon" stuff is a good start as we can count on those features, but the Release Notes rarely connect to them, and I'd say in Release Notes most of what comes out is not connected to what's in "Coming Soon."
Think about this guys more transparency would really help!
Thank you for your feedback here, everyone! I totally understand how this could be very helpful if we could share some form of a public roadmap here on the Community! Please rest assured that this topic is brought up often, and I'll be passing your recent feedback on this on to the team shortly.
Thanks!

Hi Lisa,
what the current situation? Is there a product roadmap available now? Could you please point me to it. I was not successful to find one. Bare with me if I just not used the right location to search for.
Many thanks.
Andy
Sorry for the late reply, Andreas Wastl! The public product roadmap isn't available and the team doesn't have plans to introduce it. At the same time, this Product Feedback forum is a good place to see which of the suggestions are being worked on (the ones with the "Coming soon" status) and also the ones that are being researched ("Investigating") or not planned by the team. Also, I'm happy to set up a call for you with a Wrike expert to shed a bit more light on the roadmap planning - please let me know if you're interested!

We're currently evaluating Wrike to see if it'll be a good fit for our team. This is likely going to be the biggest dealbreaker for us. We just spent two years with Asana and dealt with this over there too. I do not want to do that again — not when companies like Clickup keep theirs published.
Hey Skylar, thanks for sharing your thoughts here also. As Lisa mentioned above, this isn't something that's currently available, but if you would like to speak to a member of the team for more detail on this and to address any concerns you may have please do let me know, I'll be happy to arrange 👍

Other than looking through the community forum, is there a way to see what improvements / functionalities are in the pipeline?
Nils Troll It's also possible to reach out to your account's Customer Success Manager about this. Please let me know if you need any help with that 👍

So still no roadmap? Numerous requests that are over 6 years old, including this request for a roadmap, and the only visibility we have is that most of these requests aren't on the roadmap. What is on the roadmap?
Honestly I care less about trendy AI features and would rather have more basic functionality like custom fields with auto-incrementing IDs, being able to populate custom Date fields through automations, being able to populate custom People fields with responses from a form...
Hi Chris DeFelice! 🤝
I completely understand your sentiment and why having a public roadmap would be valuable. Although we don't have one at the moment, the Product Feedback forum is the best place to check what's in progress.
You're right; some requests can remain pending for a long time. However, the product team carefully evaluates the feasibility of each piece of feedback based on various factors. We also regularly communicate with the product development team to update the status of suggestions, whether they're planned or not.
As mentioned earlier, you can also reach out to your account's Customer Success Manager for further assistance. Please let me know if you need help with that 👍 We truly value your input, as it helps us continue to improve!
