Hi Janie, thanks for your post! I think I understand your suggestion, but just for clarity, do you mean you would like to invite a user from the "Add assignee" field, with the same options as when you're adding new users to your account, like in the screenshot below?
I am looking for the same functionality. I have a core group of regular users that I am managing but we are a service team so I want to invite the clients for each project to be collaborators. Currently in order to get them as collaborators I have to invite them as a user as detailed by Stephen then go to the task and share it with them.
It seems silly to do it like this when it is possible to do both of these tasks in one go from the 'share' button on the task. I would prefer if it was possible to set the default on a share action to be a Collaborator invite, but I would be happy with being able to select the type of user.
It also makes sense for the invite email that that user gets to reference the specific task that was shared. Currently it is just a generic invite email so can be confusing for users that have never used Wrike before.
