Search only within selected folder/project

I want to do a keyword search for tasks in specific Folder/Project. For example we have a folder called 3rd Party Content to Market that holds tasks for different content along with descriptions. Our marketing director would like to search keywords within this folder only so as to not pull up outside results.

 

Other instances arrive where I'd like to only search within a specific folder being used as a holding. Including Description Text in the search would be icing on the cake.

I haven't messed with using custom fields to apply in my custom search yet but it seems tedious.

Hi Gabe! Thanks for taking your time and writing this post! To search for tasks in a specific Folder/Project:
  1. Open this Folder/Project from the left-hand panel.
  2. Enter your search keywords in the search bar.
  3. Click "Show tasks in current Folder".
 
When you would like to search for particular words from the description of tasks in a specific Folder/Project, you should repeat steps described above, but instead of just key words, enter the search command description: keywords. Example: description:technical or description: technical review and hit "Show tasks in current Folder". As for searching by Custom Fields, here's how to do this:
  1. Open the Folder/Project.
  2. Choose List or Table View.
  3. Open Filters.
  4. Choose the Custom Field and what you would like to filter.
