Work Item View Type Missing Functions
I am enjoying the new Work Item View, however, there are some functions that are missing that are crucial to operations.ย
๐ Unable to Make a "Recurrent Item" or edit an existing "Recurrent Item"ย
If I had made the item recurring before switching to the Work Item View, it is still functioning and reoccurring correctly, but I can not make a new reoccurring item or edit any existing rules/information
๐ Unable toย "email changes to this task"
We currently click the hyperlink to "email changes to this task" to copy in client emails/communications. We add the email link as a "contact" within our mail system so that there is a record in Wrike of what has been communicated.ย
Overall, I love the clean look of the new Work Item View, but these two functions we use regularly and it has discouraged my team from taking advantage of the new view.ย

Hi Lisa. Any update on this? Removing those two functions seems like a backwards step, and certainly is preventing my team from using Work Item view that we otherwise quite like.
Hi Mark Tucknutt, apologies for the late reply here. I've checked with the team - the "email changes to this task" feature is planned to be added for the work item view in the coming weeks, and recurrences are already available ๐ฅณ

Lisa, let me know if this should be a different thread or if you want to pick it up here. Another item that's not (yet?) in custom item types seems to be time tracking. I can't find the time entry button in task CITs and I can't find the roll-up feature in Project CITs.ย
Hi Mark Tucknutt, apologies for the late reply here! The timer is available for task types (take a look at the "hidden sections" in the left part of the task type). As for time rollup for project types, I have shared your feedback with our team, but I don't have a timeline for that update yet. We'll keep you posted ๐

"email changes to this task" hyperlink is vital to how my team work. It would be great if you can keep me updated for the retrofix ETA too please Lisa We will hold off rolling out Lightspeed in our business until this is reactivated. Thanks
