Wrike Latency?

For the past couple of weeks, our team has experienced latency using the desktop app. We've cleared our desktop app cache and are being told that it appears to be an issue on our end - which doesn't make a ton of sense considering we all work remotely. One example: keystrokes aren't recording when we try to enter a comment, then all of a sudden they'll populate, and then you're in a vicious cycle of delete + type...   so frustrating. 

Looking at some of the Community comments it seems as if this has been an issue for others in the past. Hoping someone will be able to help us troubleshoot.
