Adding Custom Fields
You're not able to add a new custom field from the 'Custom Field' tab in Space Settings ... and you're not able to add a new custom field from the Admin area Account Settings > Custom fields ... which are the two logical places to add a new custom field.
Instead, you need to click the three dots in the upper right corner and click 'Manage Custom Fields' which isn't really in a logical place.
Can you please add the ability to add new Custom Fields from the two locations mentioned above?

My team uses custom fields a lot, especially to add information to our calendars. In the old version of Wrike, there was an ellipsis in the top right corner above the list of tasks in a project. In Lightspeed, the Custom field icon doesn't let me select our previously created custom fields. Where can I find this now?
Hi Laura Heyser, welcome to the Community! Thank you for sharing this question with us. In the New Table view, you can easily find and use all your existing custom fields via the "Fields" column:

+1 on this. I know that there are already other places where one can add custom fields, but I don't understand why in the custom fields "tab" on space settings I can do pretty much everything with them except to add! Obviously not a life or death kind of thing but would be nice to have.

I am having difficulty creating a very simple Custom Field Formula... even though I select the Two Fields I need to add from the "Formula" field options shown, the system still does not recognise these fields. I am Admin and have tried brackets - I have also created a new Custom Filed column and tried then to edit that filed - but the system will not allow me to save... Any ideas from anyone please...??

Adding my vote for this. As an account admin, every time I have to create a custom field (which isn't often), I go to Account Settings > Custom Fields and then remember I can do everything BUT create a new custom field. As an admin, this makes no sense to me and is honestly quite frustrating because I have to look up the help article to remember where I have to go to create it.

Adding to this, I would much prefer as the space admin to add custom fields in the space setting area with the full list of custom fields. I am setting up a new space for us to manage a new area of the business and I have to check both places to see what I've set up already. Please will you streamline this process? I would prioritize other asks over this - like adding multiple currency support.
Hi Courtney Maletic 🙋, thanks for adding your support and for explaining your use case. Regarding multiple currency support, could you please elaborate a bit more on your requirements? Currently, you can select a different currency from the “Symbol” dropdown when creating a currency-type custom field.

Hi - I agree! Every time I need to create a new field, I go to settings - custom fields and am baffled... takes me a hot minute to remember where to go!
