We've tweaked the process for creating custom views to make it a little simpler for you. Now, when creating a custom view, the name will be automatically updated to reflect the type of view you've chosen.

This means if you start creating a custom view and select Board view type, the name field will be automatically filled to read Board. You can still change the name to anything you choose, and if you've already named the view in the naming field, it won't change automatically.

We know your tasks can be complicated, and want you to be able to reflect that in their names - that's why there is a 1000-character limit for task naming. However, we discovered a bug that meant if you renamed a task from Table view, you only had 100 characters available to do so. We've fixed it so that the 1000-character limit is now consistent in all our views.
