Timesheet and Milestones

Hello Wrike team,

We have started using Milestones to track small progress in our projects and to see the status at a glance. It works really good for reporting purposes and for checking and updating the progress but we see a big problem when it comes to the timesheet and reporting.

In our solution users have big tasks assigned like "Program XXX" which has configured effort for a big task - it works as a hour bag to reporting the manhours. But the distribution of the tasks and the flow of the creation is defined as milestones with some setup. 

We can not operate on this micro tasks with efforts and durations as it starts to do a big mess in the workloads and it require a lot of additional micro planning. In our solution we are defining what should be done and until when - the resources have the freedom to choose the path to the target.

Getting to the point - we see only 1 problem here - if the small milestone due date comes in the certain week - it is showing in the dashboard of person assigned. Is there a way to filter the tasks on the timesheet - not to show milestones? Or not to show the tasks from some folders?

I know its not the normal use case for milestones but it works preety good for us and maybe someone have some good idea how to use it.
