Inbox Notifications Timeframe

Hi,

I understand that notifications in the Inbox are removed from both Inbox and Archive after 4 weeks. Is this new, or has this always been the case? Is there a way to create a filter so that notifications can remain for longer than 4 weeks? Or so that old notifications may remain visible in the archive? I sometimes want to refer to these, and it is tough that they are gone after 4 weeks.

Hi Katherine Olson, welcome to the Community, and thank you for posting!

It has always been the case, that the inbox notifications are removed after 4 weeks, to avoid clutter. It is not possible to readjust the time limit. I'd recommend "starring" the tasks you'd like to keep coming back to and have easy access to. I'll pass on your feedback to our Product team👍🏼

Hi All,

I need this too. Right now, you have no way of tracking what happened when you are away for a longer period of time. A longer holiday, sick leave, maternity leave, etc. takes more than 4 weeks! The effect of not being able to keep your inbox is that people are using email again!!! This is so counter productive so you should really consider this I think.

Thanks!
