Currently the only possibility is to configure it daily which includes weekends. It would be great if we would have the option to skip weekends as, at least, in my case it does not bring any value to receive the reminder on a Sunday, for example

If your account admin has set up the work schedule to include weekends as working days, then yes, you will receive it on the weekends. However, if you or the admin adjust the work schedule in the settings area, it should only send on the days indicated as working days.
