Option to notify assignees of subtasks created from a request form
There are certain times when we would like the assignees of subtasks to be notified in their inbox that the task has been assigned to them when the task is created through a request form. Currently, the assignee of the master task is notified but not the subtask assignees. When something is time sensitive, it could be easily missed since it only shows up in the dashboard. It would be great to have the option to notify or not notify assignees as necessary.

any updates on that? we have the same problem
Hi Philip Rikli, thank you for chiming in. We don't have updates about this suggestion at the moment. May I kindly ask you to elaborate a bit on your use case so we can pass your feedback on to our Product Team? 🙂
Looking forward to your reply!
Thanks for asking, Juan.
It's pretty simple: we use a request form to create a set of tasks from a blueprint. We end up with one main "request task" and ~5 subtasks, each assigned to different people. In order to coordinate the the fulfillment of this request, we need to notify the assignees of these subtasks multiple times. So far we've been copying the same message into all these subtasks. What we do now is manually adding the subtask assignees as followers of the main task, so we can do a @followers notification. This is better, but still not great because the assignees of the subtasks may change over time.
The ideal solution IMHO would be to introduce @subtaskassignees (or @subassignees), which would notify them all at once.
Thank you you very much for taking the time to add these additional details, Philip Rikli 👍 I've passed your comment on to our Product Team.
