New user (probably) dumb question

Ok, I'm trying to create an approval request system for our Accounts Payable department to be able to assign an invoice to a manager for approval.

I want the AP Clerk to:

1. Initiate new approval request, attach a pdf of the invoice in question, assign it to the manager that needs to approve

2.The manager that needs to approve opens the approval request, reviews the invoice and selects Approve or Reject if = Approve then the request should show up in the AP Clerk's dashboard as approved.

3. If = Reject then the rejector should place a note saying why the request was rejected, then it should show up in the AP Clerk's dashboard as rejected.

We generally have one AP clerk that will be assigning these to different approvers each time.

In the Wrike Request Form I do not see a way to add feilds or dropdowns to select who to assign the request to, is this not possible?

The way I see it the AP Clerk has to "Initiate new request" attach the invoice and hit submit. Then go to the dashboard, and select who to assign it to and who the approver should be.  (In our case assignee/approver will be the same)

I would like the AP Clerk to:  Select "Green Plus Button" go to "Request" Select "AP Approval Request" attach the PDF in question, Select the person that needs to approve the invoice, and hit submit.

Is this not possible?

Yes that is possible, see the picture for more information. You can create a checkbox in the request form and add approvers or assignees. Add a file field in the request form as well so that people can upload their files. Another option (In the green box) is to add an approval and when the task is submitted, assign a person. Hope that helped.
