see project owner, project status and project author in task-based reports
Hi,
I have a problem with reports. We are doing reports like this one with tasks grouped by Project or Folder. Now one can see the project in the grouping and also in the column Project or Folder.
We would like to see the project owner (so assignee?), the project status and the project creator of the project also (red marked fields in the screenshot).
I would have expected tese information in the columns assignee (=owner), status and author (=creator). I could not find any way how to show these information in a report. Can anybody help?

I just built out a report to test, and I think I was able to accomplish what you're looking for:
I went to Reports > Custom Report > Based on Projects, Layout = Table, with no filters. Then after the Report was created, I used the gear at the top left corner of the report to only show:
Does this work for you? I know it does not also show the tasks under each project, but it does show the other information you are looking for.
Sarah Dungey unfortunately it is as you said: it shows the projects but not the tasks. So it does not help.
In our case we are talking about the tasks in a meeting with supporting teams. And we are dealing with several projects. So it would be good to see immediately (in the same report) the project information also.
So I would need exact these information in one report.
Sven Passinger I see what you mean. I think we should get this over to the Product Feedback community area and request a feature enhancement.
I do think it is possible to view all of this information if you use Tableau to create reports on projects and tasks. I don't have an example, and we shouldn't have to use a third-party tool to accomplish this, but I think that's a potential short-term solution if your organization already has access to Tableau.

Hello, I'm wondering if this request ever got implemented. I am looking to build a similar report with projects and tasks.
This would be a helpful tool to have. During WIP meetings, I need to toggle back and forth between two reports to see both the project owner and a list of tasks and statuses with task assignee info.
