[From Wrike] ๐ฅ Time Support in Date Custom Field ๐ฅ
Hi everyone!ย
Today is a very special day for our Community, a day that many of you have been waiting for! ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
It gives us huge pleasure to announce the Wrike Labs release of time support in date-type custom fields!ย
This Product Feedback suggestion that inspired our Product team to work on this functionality is the most upvoted idea on Wrikeโs Community. Weโd like to use this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who voted and commented on that thread ๐คย
Thereโs still a lot of research ahead and this Labs release is just the first step, but weโre hoping that you are as excited about this as we are ๐
Time support - how to
The improved date-time custom field now allows you to add time data to it. It helps you communicate by which exact time the task needs to be finished to the assignees.ย
๐Important: To start using this functionality, make sure to enable it in Wrike Labs.ย

Our Automation Engine also supports this field, so you can get notifications when a task is overdue or a taskโs due time is approaching. For that, use the date-time custom field to create an automated alert via Wrikeโs Automation Engine.
๐Important: Please note that date-time custom fields are only visible and editable in Task view and Table view.
Please check out this Help Center article for more detail on this experimental functionality ๐
We canโt wait to hear what you think! Please share your feedback and questions below!

Hello,
I am an admin and I do not see this feature in my Labs. Can someone help me?
Hi Cansu,
So it has now been a full year, and the date+time custom field is still not working in Request Forms?
I landed on this page after discovering the bug independently while building/testing our new space-level request forms, and came searching for a solution.
As Florian mentioned above, it is not a missing feature if a custom field doesn't work as expected wherever it is applied, that's a bug.
Can you please give us an indication of when we might expect this to be fixed?
Combining the two data in a single field is nice, but unfortunately it is useless for our needs if unable to be included in our request forms.
I would imagine your data on uptake/usage of this field type would have been rather skewed by this issue in the past year...
Thanks! ๐
Thanks a lot for providing detailed feedback here Angela Kennewell! This feature is still in Labs, and I don't have an update on its future development at the moment, unfortunately. We'll keep flagging this with our team and if there are any updates, we'll make sure to let you know.ย

Any update on the custom date/time field bug still existing in forms? Like the several other wrike customers here in this thread, the field is useless for our needs if unable to be used in our request forms. Really hoping this gets resolved soon as it is imperative to our workflows. Thank you!
Lisa wondering if your team has any updates on this yet. We are launching on Jan 1, 2024 and really need this function. Thanks!
Hi Stephanie R., apologies for the late reply!ย
I checked with the responsible team, and for now, this feature is still under construction and thus remaining in Wrike Labs. I passed on your feedback and we'll let you know if we have any updates in the future.ย
