Tasks endpoint title filter change

When we initially started using the Wrike API, we were able to use the title filter on the task endpoint to search for tasks. Even though the documentation states that it is an exact match filter, it appeared to work with inexact matches. Very recently, it appears this has changed and now only exact matches (including case) are returned. Was there a change to this endpoint and will there ever be a search option added?
