Notify External Requestors of Task/Project Approval or Rejection

We have external request forms for individuals outside of Wrike to use for requesting marketing and creative services deliverables and also for entering an event or visit request. For some of these, we need to approve or reject the request based on various factors. We can of course add a task or project approval as part of the request form process which is great, but it does not notify the requestor of that decision.

Currently, it is a manual process to then reach out to them and let them know that the request they submitted has been approved or rejected. Since we are already capturing their name and email to send a confirmation, it doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility to also have an automated email letting them know the status of their request - it would be incredibly helpful and reduce a lot of manual, redundant work.

Great suggestion, this is something I hope will be in line for the ticketing functionality that is researched right now ( I saw in the forums ). A greater way of communicating through Wrike would be awesome. Like storing e-mail addresses for Guest Approvals and such as well. I upvoted this Kelly Hanson 🙂

Yes - knowing if a project is approved or rejected would be helpful. I'd also request the ability to automate an email when the project or task is completed.

This is a great suggestion and something we have ran into as we just started using wrike. We need an automated way for requestor to know the status of their project. It's very manual right now.
