Allow Pinned Items in Dashboard

In the Old Wrike, you could “Star” Projects and Folders to see them quickly in the upper left of the sidebar. Now that I’ve migrated to Spaces, Starred items have become Pinned, and are only viewable by leaving the Space going “Home.” I’d like to request the ability to add any Pinned Projects or Folders to a Dashboard. That would allow me semi-quick access, and would also allow you to see any Starred Tasks alongside Pinned Projects or Folders at the same time.

Thanks Lisa. I figured it's worth adding a feature request. I'll add another idea I think would make it even easier, and might be a good supplement. Allow Pinned items to show up just like starred did in the previous Wrike interface. I created a side-by-side mockup visual, with the current layout on the left, and my suggestion on the right, with a new "Pinned" section between Tools and Projects and Folders. That way it's a small addition and users could hide/collapse if they don't use, but it's fast access for those of us that do.

Brandin Aguayo post is perfect.   Having Pinned Items in the list is exactly what I'm looking for!    How can we get this quickly in place???   I've never had much luck with community suggestions, so would be nice to see something like this actually implemented.   It is so much more useful to have the Pinned items in the menu as the mock-up shows rather than the current huge homepage space with big boxes.   Sometimes I wonder what developers are thinking with new updates that move in the direction of more difficult user interface......

Welcome back to the Community Carl Moore! 🤗

You're right, not all suggestions from the Community can be implemented, but we pass on all the feedback here to the team so that they can plan and prioritize the improvements.

Thank you for supporting Brandin's suggestion and for sharing your feedback here!

Hi Brandin Aguayo, Carl Moore 👋

I wanted to let you know that we've released an update that enables your pinned items to be available in the Hamburger menu in the New Wrike Experience. This section can be collapsed and expanded by clicking on the title 'Pinned' in the Hamburger menu.

In the coming weeks, an update to expand your pinned folders and projects with sub-folders/sub-projects in the Hamburger menu will also be available. Please check out this Community post to find out more about this.

Please let me know if you have any questions 👍
