Automatically add @followers to any task comment

Would be great if @followers could be set as default for every new task comment, without the ability for non-admins to change that setting.

One of the biggest frustrations in our workflow is missing messages because the person replied without tagging anyone.

We require people to tag either the person they are speaking to, and/or @followers when providing general updates. As much as we train/remind on this, it continues to happen when working with external team members. As adoption increases, so do the instances of this happening.

We do this because many disable email notifications to "@mention only" (if that), because the system spams them otherwise. We use our inboxes in Wrike or Chrome notifications in most cases, which means if someone doesn't tag us, we won't see the message.

There is never an instance in where a message shouldn't at least go to @followers.

I agree here. We've had to have a few Wrike SOP meetings, making sure that people are tagged or @followers or @assignees is tagged because people aren't getting notified of non-tagged comments.

Hi João Alexandre da Costa Ferreira 👋 I apologize for the delayed response! So far, there haven’t been any new updates to add @followers as the default for any new comment.

One workaround I can think of is using Wrike’s Automation to add a comment mentioning @followers when a task’s status changes, fields change, or when approval starts/ends. However, I understand this is not the exact solution for the above feedback post. We’ll keep a close eye and will keep you posted if there are any updates in the coming months 👍
