It seems I am not the only one waiting for a long time for this feature.
I red posts from 2017-2018 requesting this, did I miss something or is Wrike-Dev Team still thinking "how to best provide this feature in reports?"
In Wrike it seems impossible to create a Report with Time log (Time Spent) for tasks with some Custom Fields. In our example, we use Wrike to collect the time we need for single customers, add their ID# on a custom Field (CustomerID#) and a hourly rate custom field (Rate€).
We have all the customers in one folder with subfolders for single bigger customers.
We make monthly reports to export the Time Log in Excel but here the custom fields are missing (Filter).
Unfortunately there is no way to make a report out of it or better, there are two ways but both of them not really useful.
The first is to export directly the Table View from the customer folder. This would work but here you cannot export a time frame for time spent, not even creating a custom view. This means you cannot export the time entries for, e.g. Oktober, it's always an ALL TIME period.
The second is to creat a Timelog Report, select the folder als Source Data and the User Group as Filter. Here you can choose a time frame but you will not have any custom fields available to filter!
Is this an expected behaviour for Wrike? It seems pretty unlogic, not to include custom fields in this report filter, is there a technical reason for it?
Also Wrike Support suggested me a workaround which does not really work...around!
Has anyone a better idea or solution?
