Project Approvals

We have internal people who submit projects through request forms for emails. These have hard deadlines and while they are supposed to be submitting them a certain number of days before the email goes out. However, there are certain people to have a tendency to always be late and have us playing catch up.

I do not have time to approve every request before it goes in so is there any way to set up a project approval process if someone requests an email within the blueprint timeline.

We tried setting up the email request as the first task, but the way the request interacts with the project was wonky. However, we had to do a quick set up so we did not get as much time as we would have like to work on improving the process.

Hi Pam Scott,

Could you share more information about this use case? This will help us find a possible workaround for this situation.

Sure.

An email request, based on our blueprint should be submitted 9 days before the (hard) email send date. If a requestor put a request in 7 days before, it would ideally be flagged for needing approval.

As I think about it, the reason is for visibility for late requests.

Hey Pam Scott,

Thank you for providing more detail here. It currently isn't possible to create an approval process such as this one in Wrike. I've passed your suggestion on to the Product team. If there are any updates in relation to this, I'll be sure to let you know.
