Create a formula in Wrike Analyze for Task Duration (work days only)

Hello!

I'm trying to create a formula (in Wrike Analyze) that calculates the duration of a task, but excludes weekends. Are there any formulas (or workarounds) that would allow me to do so?

Thanks,
Olivia

DDiff([Days in Task Start Date], [Days in Task Completion Date])

Hi Olivia!

Currently, there is no way to exclude weekends when calculating the duration of tasks in a formula. One possible workaround could be to use a CASE to specify that if the ddiff between the dates is >7, multiply by 5/7. This won't be precise, but it will give a duration that is more accurate than one including the weekends.

Hope this helps! If you need anything else, let me know.

Thanks so much, Hugh, for this clever workaround! I will play around with it and see how it goes. :)
