Here are things I think could improve tables for my company:
- Project counts rather than just task counts at the bottom of the page
- Improve sorting by adding "then by"; "Sort by X, then by X"
- Include "Hide Folders" and Hide Projects" so that we can just see tasks. Otherwise, sorting tasks is disrupted by the the folders and projects.
- Allow tasks to inherit their project level custom field. For example, a box I can check or a new custom field type that makes task=project in custom fields. (It's inefficient to update 30 task notes every time we change the notes on the project level.
- Improve time frames to include "today". For example rather than updating the calendar each day to capture projects modified from X/X/XX to X/X/XX, make it X/X/XX to Today() like in excel.
